Strategy
Client: Unga Lukas is a non profit organization working to support teenagers with anxiety in the society. Unga Lukas offer young adults a hotline - where they can talk about life, relationships and mental health. Unga Lukas work from a holistic perspective on people - with the importance of existential issues such as identity, meaning and context in focus. Unga Lukas is represented in all the different regions in Sweden.
Problem: Unga Lukas wanted to expand their offer to also include a digital meeting place for young people where information and support on anxiety and mental illness could be found. One of the key insights from research was the need to talk to someone fast when you experience anxiety or mental illness as a young person. Regular health providers in the regions usually have a waiting period of several weeks or even months to get your fist appointment.
Solution: We developed a digital platform for teenagers and people working with teenagers such as therapists, school personel. A place to access expertise and advise about mental health issues, connect with others in the same situation and get information and support about anxiety and depression. The platform included a therapist service, the possibility to book a free digital meeting with a therapist within 24 hours. The free therapist service was sponsored by a co-lab between the regions and different large corporations. We also added services to targeted groups such as gamers with therapists with gaming experience talking about mental health related to the gaming community.
